Call for Papers
Contributions are invited on subjects within the
Conference Scope and also on other relevant subjects.
Papers and abstracts must be high quality, original and not already published or submitted elsewhere for publication during the review period. Papers and abstracts will be reviewed by members of the
InMusic International Programme Committee and selected for presentation and publication based on the reviewer feedback.
Authors can choose to submit either a Full Paper or a short paper Abstract. All authors who present at the InMusic conference will be invited to submit a Full Paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

Abstracts
Abstracts between 300-500 words will be reviewed for inclusion in the conference programme. After the conference, presenting authors will be given the option to prepare a Full Paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
Full Papers
Authors may choose to submit a Full Paper for the conference. Full Papers will be peer-reviewed by at least two referees.
The guide length for Full Papers is 8-12 pages (approx. 4000-6000 words). Longer papers will incur an additional publication charge. Full Papers must follow the InMusic style and formatting guidelines (see 'Format & Templates' below) in order to be accepted for inclusion in the conference programme and proceedings.
Authors of selected papers may be invited to submit extended versions for publication in the Innovation InMusic Journal.
Conference Proceedings
The conference proceedings will be published online for free in Innovation In Music: Proceedings. This is an open access publication with no fees for reading or downloading the papers. Authors assign the publisher the right to publish the paper, but otherwise keep all rights to the paper themselves.
The conference proceedings will also be available in a bound book, which will be edited and published within 6 months of the conference.
Submission of Abstracts and Full Papers
All submissions must be uploaded onto the
PROSE online submission and review system .
Papers & Abstracts must be submitted as a PDF document for review. If accepted, an MS Word version must be provided.

Presentation at the Conference
All paper presentations must be presented by one of the authors who must register for the conference and pay the conference registration fee. By submitting a paper you undertake that you will attend the conference and present the paper if it is accepted. By submitting a paper you also indicate that you accept the conference Terms and Conditions, available by request or
here on the conference website, and that you agree to abide by them.
Conference presentations will be strictly kept to 15 minutes maximum duration with an additional 5 minutes allocated for audience questions.
Publication Files
Once a Full Paper has been accepted, authors must upload onto the PROSE review system a set of files to enable it to be published. Authors will receive an email from the PROSE review system asking for the upload of these publication files.
The requirements are as follows:-
- - A word-processor version of the paper in the specified MS Word Format, named ‘inmusic15-xxx.doc’
- - A final PDF copy made from the above source file, named ‘inmusic15-xxx.pdf’
- - A separate MS word document containing an abstract to be published in the Conference Digest, named ‘inmusic15-xxx-abstract.doc’
Format and Templates
Papers to be submitted for consideration for the conference should be formatted according to the instructions
provided here. Papers that are not in this format will not be considered.
